Basketball Game Preview: Agua Dulce Longhorns vs. Port Isabel Tarpons

Agua Dulce is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past Premont 82-23 on Friday. The Longhorns have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven games by 21 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Port Isabel played a tough contest on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were outmatched by Los Fresnos and fell 81-49. While losing is never fun, the Tarpons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1156th, while the Falcons are ranked 296th).

Agua Dulce's victory was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-2. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.6 points per game. As for Port Isabel, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-9.
