Baseball Recap: Edmonson County Takes a Loss

Edmonson County entered their match against Monroe County on Tuesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Wildcats fell 7-3 to the Falcons. Surprisingly, this marked the fourth straight game that the away team has come away the victor.

Edmonson County's loss dropped their record down to 4-4-1. As for Monroe County, their win was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Edmonson County will venture away from home to square off against Glasgow at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Monroe County, they will head out to take on DeKalb County at 7:45 p.m. on Friday.
