Volleyball Recap: Sumter's Luck Changes for the Better on Monday

Sumter won the last time they faced Manning and things went their way on Monday too. The Gamecocks walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Monarchs. The win was some much needed relief for the Gamecocks as it spelled an end to their three-match losing streak.

Sumter walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the second set). The final score came out to 25-19, 25-9, 22-25, 25-23.

Sumter's win bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Manning, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Sumter didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 victory against South Florence on the 30th. As for Manning, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Wilson on the 1st.
