Volleyball Recap: Gordon-Rushville Comes Up Short

Gordon-Rushville lost against Valentine on Thursday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Mustangs fell 2-0 to Valentine. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-16.

Stormy Tesch paced Gordon-Rushville's offense, picking up three kills. Tesch got some help from Mikaylee Campbell and her five assists.

Gordon-Rushville's defeat dropped their record down to 9-16. As for Valentine, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-8.

Gordon-Rushville didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against Hemingford on the 11th. As for Valentine, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Hyannis on the 11th.
