Volleyball Recap: San Jose Comes Up Short

San Jose was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They came up short against the Live Oak Acorns, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Acorns this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in April.

The final score came out to 25-20, 25-15, 25-15.

San Jose's defeat dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Live Oak, the win (which was their 14th in a row) raised their record to 19-6.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. San Jose will challenge rival Gilroy at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Live Oak is set to square off against their familiar foe Mt. Pleasant at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
