Softball Recap: Williamson Comes Up Short

Williamson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 14-2 to the Sodus Spartans. The Marauders were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Spartans apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Williamson's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Sodus, their victory was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-0.

Coincidentally, Williamson and Sodus will both be playing East Rochester the next time they take the field. The Marauders will head out to face the Bombers at 4:45 p.m. on the 21st, while the Spartans will head out to face them at 4:45 p.m. on the 22nd.
