Volleyball Recap: American Triumphs

American won the last time they faced Washington and things went their way on Thursday too. The Eagles walked away with a 3-1 win over the Huskies. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.

American was especially dominant in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 17-25, 25-15, 25-20.

When it comes to explaining why Washington lost, don't look at Michael Peng. Despite the final result, he had 21 digs and one assist. Dominic Castillo also deserves some recognition as he had his first block of the season.

The victory got American back to even at 5-5. As for Washington, they dropped their record down to 5-6 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.
