South Lenoir and Dixon are an even 3-3 against one another since December of 2022, but not for long. The Blue Devils will host the Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

After dropping their season opener at home, Dixon is headed out to face a Blue Devils team ready to give their home crowd a win. South Lenoir took an 81-75 hit to the loss column at the hands of North Lenoir on Friday. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it 18 in a row.

Dixon hadn't beaten Heide Trask on the road since January 21, 2020 but that history sure didn't bother them on Friday. The Bulldogs came out on top against the Titans by a score of 76-69. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bulldogs.

Dixon's win came from a few key players South Lenoir will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Noah Wright, who posted 17 points and seven assists. The matchup was his third in a row with at least 17 points. Another player making a difference was Anthony Pauline, who shot 80% from the field en route to 18 points and eight rebounds.

Dixon smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive boards every time they've taken the court this season.
