Volleyball Recap: Durfee Takes a Loss

Durfee had taken Taunton down for three straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Tuesday. The Hilltoppers lost 3-0 to the Tigers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 two weeks ago.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-15, 25-12.

Durfee's defeat dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Taunton, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-4.

Coming up, Durfee will square off against Attleboro at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Taunton, they will venture away from home to challenge Silver Lake Regional at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Tigers are facing the Lakers at the right time seeing as the Lakers are stuck on a 13-game losing streak.
