Petersburg lost to Keyser back in January, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Wednesday. The Petersburg Vikings skirted past the Keyser Golden Tornado 74-72. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Vikings.

Several Golden Tornado players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Grayson Lambka, who went 9-for-15 to rack up 22 points in addition to five assists and three steals. What's more, Lambka also posted a 60% field goal percentage, which is the highest he's achieved since back in December of 2024. Braylon Mcgreevy was another key player, dropping a double-double with 15 points and ten rebounds.

The victory got Petersburg back to even at 9-9. As for Keyser, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-11.

Petersburg didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 56-33 win against Moorefield on the 21st. As for Keyser, they have also already played their next matchup, a 69-30 defeat against Mountain Ridge on the 22nd.
