Softball Recap: Killingly Comes Up Short

Killingly lost against East Lyme on April 8th, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Redmen fell just short of the Vikings by a score of 5-3. The game marked the Redmen's lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Killingly and nudges their season record down to 3-3. As for East Lyme, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Killingly will host Fitch at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The Falcons will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Redmen surely won't give up without a fight. As for East Lyme, they will welcome Immaculate at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
