 With a playoff game on the line, Indian Rocks Christian rose to the challenge  on Monday. They put the hurt on the Lakeside Christian Lions with a sharp  10-1 victory. That's more bragging rights for Indian Rocks Christian, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
  Mason Stout looked comfortable as he  pitched 3.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off   two  hits.
 At the plate, Indian Rocks Christian got a big performance out of  Hunter Maddox, who  scored a  run and  stole two bases while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances.  Cooper Ryan was another key contributor,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while going 2-for-4.
 On Lakeside Christian's side, they saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Dominic Ludovici, who  went 1-for-2 with a  triple and a  run.
 Indian Rocks Christian has  been performing  well recently as they've  won three of their last four contests,  which provided a massive bump to their 10-16 record  this season. As for Lakeside Christian, their defeat was  their third straight on the road, which  dropped their record down to 9-11-1.
 Indian Rocks Christian will challenge Northside Christian at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Northside Christian's pitching crew has only allowed 2.8  runs per game  this season, so Indian Rocks Christian's hitters will have their work cut out for them. Lakeside Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
