Basketball Recap: Maple Valley Wins Going Away Against Enderlin

Maple Valley won the last time they faced Enderlin and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Maple Valley Raiders blew past the Enderlin Eagles 55-31. The win was some much needed relief for the Raiders as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak dating back to last season.

Enderlin's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Aspyn Schlecht, who posted 13 points. Another player making a difference was Karina Olson, who put up six points and three steals.

Enderlin is on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Maple Valley will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Mayville-Portland-Clifford-Galesburg at 6:30 p.m. on December 30th. As for Enderlin, they will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on South Border co-op [Wishek/Ashley] at 7:00 p.m. on December 19th.
