Softball Recap: North Bend Central Tigers vs. Arlington Eagles
After flying high against Ponca last Thursday, North Bend Central came back down to earth. The North Bend Central Tigers came up short against the Arlington Eagles on Saturday, falling 10-2. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2023.
North Bend Central has traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last ten games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-12 record this season. As for Arlington, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-10.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Highway 91 the next time they take the field. Arlington will host Highway 91 at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, while North Bend Central will host them on Monday.
