Baseball Recap: Percy Julian Takes a Loss

Percy Julian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost an 8-7 heartbreaker at the hands of the JAG Jaguars. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last six times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Percy Julian's loss dropped their record down to 3-11. As for JAG, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight games. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-5 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Percy Julian will take on Carver Montgomery at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Carver Montgomery will aim to continue their four-game streak of scoring more runs each matchup than the last. As for JAG, a feisty cat fight will be fought as JAG Jaguars challenge Central of Coosa County Cougars at 6:00 p.m. on March 21st.
