2015-16 record: 24-6

The Falcons enter the season as the team to beat in 5A after reaching the semifinals in 2015-16. Seven contributors are back, including reigning Player of the Year Aleah Goodman. The 5-9 senior Oregon State commit averaged 15.8 points, 7.2 assists and 6.7 rebounds per game as a junior. She wasn't the team's leading scorer, however. That would be coach's kid Taycee Wedin (5-9, Jr., G), who put up 19.0 points, 3.6 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game.

Oregon City is one of the signature programs in all of high school girls basketball nationally. The Pioneers have claimed 12 state titles and were three-peat national champions in the mid-1990s. New Mexico commitment N'Dea Flye (5-8, Sr., G) will lead OC's quest for a 13th state title after earning second team All-State honors a year ago.

All-Stater Elise Conroy will be missed but the Tigers have several key players back from last year's run to the 6A title game. Jazmyn Brown (5-5, Sr., G), Campbell Gray (5-8, So., G), Lexie Sawin (5-8, Sr., G) and leading returning scorer Kylie Warren (5-8, Sr., G) will make Tigard tough to handle.
