Soccer Game Preview: Winamac vs. Argos

Winamac hasn't had much luck against Argos recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Warriors will square off against the Dragons at 5:00 p.m. Winamac will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

Winamac is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Monday. They blew past Culver Community 11-1. The result was nothing new for Winamac, who have now won eight contests by five goals or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Argos kept a clean sheet against Lakeland Christian Academy on Monday. They had just enough and edged out the Cougars 1-0.

Argos' win bumped their record up to 10-4-2. As for Winamac, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 10-4-2.

Winamac suffered a grim 5-1 defeat to Argos in their previous meeting back in August. That matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Warriors were down 3-0.
