Football Recap: Christian Brothers Starts off Right with Win over Sacred Heart-Griffin

Christian Brothers had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They breezed past the Sacred Heart-Griffin Cyclones to the tune of 63-20 on Friday. With the Cadets ahead 42-6 at the half, the match was all but over already.

Nick McClellan had a dynamite game, rushing for 60 yards and one score, while also throwing for 119 yards and a pair of TDs on perfect 8-for-8 passing.

Christian Brothers didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 34-12 victory against Cardinal Ritter College Prep on the 5th. As for Sacred Heart-Griffin, they have also already played their next contest, a 65-20 win against Mascoutah on the 5th.
