Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Fort Collins). They were the clear victors by a 13-2 margin over the Loveland Red Wolves on Wednesday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Lambkins considering their two-run performance the contest before.

Kaden Souders was a standout: he fired off two home runs, four runs, and five RBI while going 4-for-4. Those two home runs gave him a new career-high. Oliver Stanevich was another key player, scoring four runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-3.

Souders wasn't the only one making solid contact: Fort Collins kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. The Lambkins are a perfect 3-0 when they post 11 or more hits.

Fort Collins' record now sits at 6-8. As for Loveland, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last nine matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season.

Fort Collins will head out to challenge Prairie View at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Loveland, they will face off against Thompson Valley at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
