Volleyball Game Preview: Antelope Rams vs. Maryvale Prep Matador

The Antelope Rams are taking a road trip to challenge the Maryvale Prep Matador at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Antelope is coming into the match on a four-game losing streak.

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Antelope and San Pasqual Valley, and San Pasqual Valley kept the tradition alive. The Rams fell 3-1 to the Warriors on Monday.

Meanwhile, Maryvale Prep lost 3-0 to Arete Prep on Monday.

Antelope's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Maryvale Prep, their loss dropped their record down to 3-5.

Antelope was able to grind out a solid win over Maryvale Prep when the teams last played back in October of 2024, winning 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Rams since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
