If Chaparral was feeling good off their 5-0 takedown of Casa Grande last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Chaparral ended up on the wrong side of a rough 3-0 walloping at the hands of Desert Mountain on Thursday. Having soared to a lofty five goals in the game before, Chaparral couldn't push the score so high this time.
Chaparral bumped their record down to 7-7 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Desert Mountain, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-5-1.
Chaparral will be playing at home against Notre Dame Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Desert Mountain, they will head out on the road to square off against Paradise Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Paradise Valley is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.
