Blanchard piles up the points against Cache

Recap: Blanchard Lions vs. Cache Bulldogs
It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Blanchard Lions had no problem doing just that on Friday. They breezed by Cache at home to the tune of 27-0. The win was nothing new for Blanchard as they're now sitting on nine straight.
Carson Cooksey looked great while leading his team to the win, throwing for 228 yards and three touchdowns. McHale Howell was another key contributor, rushing for 102 yards and a touchdown.
Blanchard has yet to lose a contest at home this season, leaving them with a 10-1 record. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 22.09 points. As for Cache, their loss dropped their record down to 5-5.
Blanchard will be playing in front of their home fans against Sallisaw at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams might be coming in a bit winded given how much these teams ran in their prior games. Cache does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
