Baseball Game Preview: Livonia Wildcats vs. Westminster Christian Academy Crusaders

The Livonia Wildcats will challenge the Westminster Christian Academy Crusaders at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Livonia is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.

On Thursday, Livonia came up short against Cecilia and fell 4-1.

Livonia got a good showing from Kenny Smith, who pitched three innings while giving up just two earned runs off one hit. That's the fewest hits Smith has allowed since back in March.

On the hitting side, Livonia saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Chase Sylvain, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

Meanwhile, Westminster Christian Academy hadn't done well against Comeaux recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Crusaders skirted past the Spartans 10-9.

Westminster Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 10-11. As for Livonia, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-15-1.
