Baseball Recap: Escambia Academy Comes Up Short

Escambia Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 13-3 to the South Choctaw Academy Rebels, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rebels this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 13-3 on Tuesday.

Escambia Academy now has a losing record of 2-3. As for South Choctaw Academy, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.

Coming up, Escambia Academy will take on Central Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. South Choctaw Academy will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Lakeside School at 11:15 a.m. on March 8th.
