Basketball Recap: South Pike Eagles vs. Franklin County Bulldogs
The South Pike Eagles can now show off eight landslide victories after their most recent match on Tuesday. They blew past Franklin County 32-12. The win was familiar territory for South Pike who now have three in a row.
South Pike got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Alaysha Williams out in front who scored four points along with six rebounds and six steals. Jamaya Holloway was another key contributor, scoring six points along with five rebounds and three steals.
South Pike has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season. As for Franklin County, their loss was their eighth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-17.
South Pike will take on the Blue Waves at 5:00 a.m. on Friday. Port Gibson is coming into the game hot, having won their last seven games. Franklin County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
