It's playoff time, and Leonardtown had no trouble coming through when it counted. They put the hurt on the Bowie Bulldogs with a sharp 13-6 win on Saturday. The Raiders might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten contests by seven runs or more this season.

The victory was the seventh in a row for Leonardtown, bringing their record up to 16-4. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.9 runs on average over those games. As for Bowie, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 16-3.

Looking ahead, Leonardtown will take on Broadneck at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bruins will roll in looking for their 11th straight victory, something the Raiders surely won't give up without a fight. Bowie does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
