Billings Senior is 8-1 against Gallatin since April of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Saturday. The Broncs will face off against the Raptors at 12:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

Billings Senior is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Montana's top teams: Billings West, who was ranked 13th at the time (Billings Senior was ranked fifth). The Broncs fell 15-11 to the Golden Bears on Thursday. The Broncs' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Madi Ban was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-5 with one home run, five RBI, and two runs. Sloan Shulund also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

Meanwhile, Gallatin also suffered a loss in their last game, falling to Belgrade by a score of 10-7.

Madison Coleman led a balanced group of hitters, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with three runs and one stolen base. Zoe Bassham was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and one run.

Gallatin's defeat dropped their record down to 10-5. As for Billings Senior, the loss was their first on the road , dropping their record down to 13-4.

Billings Senior was able to grind out a solid win over Gallatin in their previous matchup back in April, winning 12-7. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Broncs since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
