Football Recap: Chickasaw Takes a Loss

Chickasaw lost against Flomaton back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Chieftains were beaten by the Hurricanes 48-13. The Chieftains were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 28-7.

Flomaton got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was TJ Hall out in front who rushed for 104 yards and a pair of TDs on only ten carries. Antwan Bowen also helped out as he racked up 104 rushing yards.

Chickasaw's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Flomaton, their win was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-0.

Chickasaw and Flomaton will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Chieftains will challenge rival Blacksher at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Flomaton is set to take on their familiar foe Excel at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
