Volleyball Recap: Spencer Takes a Loss

Spencer was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Kendrick Cherokees. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Greenwave have suffered since August 21st.

While Spencer was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Kendrick's winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-22, 26-24.

Spencer's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Kendrick, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season.

As of now, neither Spencer nor Kendrick have any future games scheduled.
