Baseball Recap: Frederick Takes a Loss

Frederick lost against Marietta back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Frederick came up short against Marietta, falling 15-3. The Bombers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Zach Peel and Dalton Wells did some serious damage despite the final result: Peel got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one stolen base and one RBI, while Wells scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

Frederick's loss dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Marietta, with the win, they broke their six-game losing streak and moved their record to 6-11.

Frederick will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Ryan at 4:30 p.m. on April 8. As for Marietta, they will face off against Comanche at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
