The Flatirons Academy Bison will venture away from home to face off against the Heritage Christian Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Flatirons Academy is coming into the contest hot, having won their last ten games.
On Tuesday, Flatirons Academy made easy work of Belleview Christian and carried off a 3-0 victory.
The final score came out to 25-10, 25-16, 25-8.
Meanwhile, Heritage Christian unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-match winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Sedgwick County.
While Heritage Christian ultimately came up short, they really made Sedgwick County work, particularly in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 20-25, 25-9, 25-19.
Flatirons Academy will have to contain Abby Leveillee as she made an impact in Heritage Christian's last game. She had 15 digs and two assists. Leveillee has been hot recently, having posted 13 or more digs the last three times she's played.
Flatirons Academy's win bumped their record up to 21-1. As for Heritage Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 16-6.
