Basketball Recap: Crescent Takes a Loss

Crescent played a tough game on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost 51-28 to the St. Joseph's Catholic Knights. The defeat continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Knights: they've now lost four in a row.

Despite the loss, Crescent saw an underclassman step up: freshman Jeremiah Wardlaw posted ten points.

Crescent now has a losing record at 4-5. As for St. Joseph's Catholic, they pushed their record up to 7-0 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.

Crescent didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 60-38 win against Ninety Six on the 17th. St. Joseph's Catholic and Travelers Rest will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on December 20th.
