Henry Clay's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Tates Creek, their loss dropped their record down to 1-6.

Everything went Tates Creek's way against Henry Clay in their previous matchup back in May of 2024, as Tates Creek made off with an 11-4 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Tates Creek since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
