Football Recap: Harding Presidents vs. Wilbur Cross Governors
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against East Haven, Harding was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They walked away with a 22-14 victory over the Wilbur Cross Governors. This was payback for the Presidents, who suffered a 24-6 defeat the last time these two teams met.
Leading Harding to victory were Tyrone Curry and Conell Mckinney. Curry picked up 55 receiving yards and two touchdowns, while Mckinney rushed for 83 yards and a touchdown. An impressive showing, but Mckinney really ramped things up playing D: he made ten total tackles (3.0 for loss) and defended a pass.
