Volleyball Recap: Juab Makes It Six in a Row on the Road

Juab entered their tilt with Wasatch Academy on Monday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 3-0 win.

While Juab won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-7, 25-18, 26-24.

Despite the defeat, Wasatch Academy saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Carlos Lopez had 12 digs.

Juab's victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-4. As for Wasatch Academy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 12 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-13 record this season.

Juab wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-1 win against Juan Diego Catholic on the 15th. As for Wasatch Academy, they will square off against Utah Military Academy - Camp Williams at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
