Danville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They took a 34-28 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hatton Hornets. The Hawks were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Hornets apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2017.

Tasean Love was his usual excellent self, rushing for 89 yards and three touchdowns for Hatton.

Danville's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Hatton, they pushed their record up to 5-3 with the win, which was their third straight at home.
