Volleyball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Cook Inlet Academy

Cook Inlet Academy waltzed into their matchup on Wednesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They blew past the Ninilchik Wolverines 3-0. That's the sixth time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 3-1 win on Tuesday.

Cook Inlet Academy walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-18, 25-21.

The win got Cook Inlet Academy back to even at 13-13. As for Ninilchik, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last nine matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-12 record this season.

Coincidentally, Cook Inlet Academy and Ninilchik will both be playing Susitna Valley the next time they take the court. The Eagles will host the Rams at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Wolverines will host them at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
