Fort Wayne North Side is 8-2 against Fort Wayne South Side since May of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. Fort Wayne South Side couldn't beat Fort Wayne Snider on Monday even though they stacked six runs on them in the fifth inning. The Archers came up short against the Panthers, falling 17-6.

Fort Wayne South Side saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Valeria Nino, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one RBI. That RBI was Nino's first of the season.

Fort Wayne South Side's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Fort Wayne North Side, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-11.

Fort Wayne North Side took their win against Fort Wayne South Side in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 12-2 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Legends since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
