Grand Oaks is a perfect 10-0 against Conroe since November of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Grizzlies will welcome the Tigers at 5:30 p.m. The timing is sure in Grand Oaks' favor as the team sits on 17 straight wins at home (dating back to last season) while Conroe has been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road.

On Tuesday, Grand Oaks got the win against New Caney by a conclusive 3-0.

The final score came out to 25-6, 25-15, 25-19.

Grand Oaks' win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Julia Flessas, who had eight digs and four aces. What's more, Flessas posted two assists, the most she's had since back in September. Cambrie Cavanaugh was another key player, getting three digs and two aces.

They weren't the only good servers: Grand Oaks was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least seven aces in five consecutive matchups.

Meanwhile, Conroe came up short against Oak Ridge on Tuesday, falling 3-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-14, 25-17.

Conroe's loss dropped their record down to 17-21. As for Grand Oaks, their victory bumped their record up to 29-8.

Everything went Grand Oaks' way against Conroe in their previous meeting back in September, as Grand Oaks made off with a 3-0 win. Will the Grizzlies repeat their success, or do the Tigers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
