Volleyball Recap: Essex Tech Wins Going Away Against Salem

Essex Tech won the last time they faced Salem and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Hawks were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Witches. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Hawks.

The final score came out to 25-10, 25-6, 25-16.

Isaac Mauricio had a dynamite game, getting 11 digs and six aces. Another player making a difference was Jack Booth, who had six kills, five digs, and three aces.

Mauricio wasn't the only good server: Essex Tech was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 15 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces every time they've taken the court this season.

Essex Tech now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Salem, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Essex Tech didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Wakefield Memorial on the 3rd. Salem has also already played their next match (against Greater Lawrence Tech), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
