Baseball Recap: Ukiah Takes a Loss

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Ukiah's offense. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 1-0 to the Windsor Jaguars, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The loss continues a trend for the Wildcats in their meetings with the Jaguars: they've now lost four in a row.

Ukiah saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kamble Koch, who went 2-for-3 with one double.

Ukiah's defeat dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Windsor, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 10-6.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Jaguars beat Ukiah by a score of 8-1 on Friday.
