McLouth has gone a perfect 3-0 against Jackson Heights recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Bulldogs will face off against the Cobras at 4:30 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as McLouth comes in on 20 and Jackson Heights on nine.
McLouth is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They were the clear victors by a 17-2 margin over Horton on Thursday. Fans of the Bulldogs have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 6+ runs.

Maddie Turner was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching three innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits. Turner was even better at the plate, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with two triples, two stolen bases, and three runs. Turner is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: she's snagged at least one every time she's taken the field this season.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Abby Patz, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one triple. That triple was her first of the season. Amora Cheek was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, two doubles, and one run.
McLouth was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .667. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, Jackson Heights made easy work of Atchison County on Thursday and carried off an 11-1 win. The Cobras might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matchups by seven runs or more this season.
Taylor Bosley was a standout: she went a perfect 3-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and one triple. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Layla Cochran, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with three runs, one triple, and one stolen base.
McLouth pushed their record up to 8-0 with the victory, which was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.6 runs on average over those games. As for Jackson Heights, their record now sits at 10-5.
Jackson Heights' pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: McLouth has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 10 hits per game. It's a different story for Jackson Heights, though, as they've been averaging 9.2 hits. Given McLouth's sizable advantage in that area, the Cobras will need to find a way to close that gap.
McLouth took their victory against Jackson Heights in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 10-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bulldogs since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
