Camp Verde lost to Phoenix Christian last Monday, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Wednesday. The Cowboys blew past the Cougars 12-1. Considering the Cowboys have won 12 games by more than eight runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Karleen Moore was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three doubles, three RBI, and two runs. Those three doubles gave her a new career-high. Reagan Statler was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI, two runs, and one double.

Camp Verde's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-10. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 19.3 runs over those games. As for Phoenix Christian, their loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 8-1 and their overall record down to 15-4.

Camp Verde has already played their next matchup, a 10-0 victory against Red Rock on the 24th. As for Phoenix Christian, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 21-5 win against Fountain Hills on the 24th.
