Basketball Recap: South Point Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact South Point can now relate to. They were beaten by the Minford Falcons 72-44 on Monday. While losing is never fun, the Pointers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 247th, while the Falcons are ranked 13th).

South Point's loss dropped their record down to 12-11. As for Minford, the victory was the 13th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 22-1.

As of now, neither South Point nor Minford have any future games scheduled.
