Football Recap: Franklin Christian Academy Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Grace Christian Academy, Franklin Christian Academy was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They came out on top against Providence Academy by a score of 42-31. The high-scoring effort was just what the Falcons needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.

Although Providence Academy took the loss, they still got scores from Cole Blanton, Carter Larson, Hunt Simpson, and Roman Damron.

The victory got Franklin Christian Academy back to even at 1-1. As for Providence Academy, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 1-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Franklin Christian Academy will square off against Ezell-Harding Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. This will be the Falcons' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Providence Academy, they will take on Eagleton College & Career Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
