Chelsea had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Trenton Trojans a 2-0 shutout on Saturday. Give the Bulldogs' pitching crew some credit: that's the team's third straight shutout.

Chelsea has been performing well recently as they've won 14 of their last 18 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-8-1 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.1 runs on average over those games. As for Trenton, they moved to 30-10 with that defeat, which also ended their nine-game winning streak.
