Recap: Camden Bulldogs vs. Daniel Lions
It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact the Camden Bulldogs can now relate to. They were just a hair shy of victory on Saturday and fell 49-48 to the Lions. Camden's defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.
Several Bulldogs players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jaquarius (jah) Mayrant, who rushed for 103 yards and three touchdowns on only ten carries. The team also got some help courtesy of Grayson White, who rushed for 103 yards and three touchdowns.
Daniel had a senior duo take command as Kari Bennett rushed for 131 yards and three touchdowns on only 13 carries and Kolton Chapman rushed for 126 yards and two touchdowns.
Camden's defeat dropped their record down to 11-4. As for Daniel, they pushed their record up to 15-0 with that victory, which was their seventh straight on the road.
Camden does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Daniel also has no future games currently scheduled.
