Basketball Recap: Kotlik Sets Scoring Season-High Against Ignatius Beans

Kotlik scored the most points they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They took a 45-38 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Ignatius Beans Strivers. The Falcons' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it five in a row.

Kotlik's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jenna Matthias, who posted 11 points. Rhiannon Murphy was another key player, putting up 11 points.

Ignatius Beans' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Danica George, who had 21 points. Another player making a difference was Rose Mary Moses, who scored 14 points.

Kotlik's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Ignatius Beans, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-8.
