Baseball Recap: Lexington Eagles vs. Little River Academy Bumblebees

Lexington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 7-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Little River Academy Bumblebees. The Eagles were not able to make up for their defeat to the Bumblebees from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Lexington saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Peyton Tomas, who went 2-for-3 with one triple and one run. Another was Peyton Stevens, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI.

Lexington's loss dropped their record down to 9-6. As for Little River Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-9 record this season.
