Volleyball Recap: New Palestine Picks Up Eighth Straight Win at Home

New Palestine had won seven straight home games dating back to last season and Kennedy Armstrong did her part to make it eight on Monday. Everything went the Dragons' way against the Mooresville Pioneers as they made off with a 3-0 win with plenty of help from Armstrong, who had nine digs and three aces. She is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last five games she's played.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-10, 25-18.

Despite the loss, Mooresville saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Meadow Morancey had 14 digs and two assists.

New Palestine's victory bumped their record up to 15-2. As for Mooresville, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-15 record this season.

New Palestine wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Indian Creek on the 23rd. As for Mooresville, they have also already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Franklin Community on the 23rd.
